Farrah Fine Jewellers at Trees of Hope 2025

This year, we had the absolute honour of participating in the Trees of Hope event at the iconic Fairmont Château Laurier, all in support of the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). This cherished annual fundraiser transforms the historic hotel into a sparkling holiday wonderland filled with beautifully decorated trees created by local businesses, organizations, and community leaders.

We were thrilled to decorate not only one of the stunning Christmas trees inside the Château Laurier but also sponsored a professionally decorated tree showcased at the hotel entrance. Our team had an absolute blast pouring love, creativity, and holiday magic into every detail. From choosing the festive colour palette to adding thoughtful, personal touches, the whole experience was pure joy.

This year, we added meaningful ornaments to our tree along with ornaments Farha and Sarah have had for years. One ornament represented Sarah and her newborn baby, and another was created by a sweet 5-year-old named Lydia from CHEO. These are just a few of the little details that made the experience even more heartfelt for our team. Here's a behind-the-scene look:

One of the best parts of Trees of Hope is the sense of community it brings. We had an incredible time celebrating alongside so many wonderful people and businesses coming together for a shared purpose. The room was filled with kindness, generosity, and holiday magic, reminding us of what this season is truly about.

We were also deeply grateful to receive an Honourable Mention Award for our tree. This recognition means so much to us, especially among such a talented group of participants. Congratulations as well to Brookstreet Hotel & KRP Properties for winning the Best in Branches award. A well-deserved recognition for a beautifully designed tree.

At its heart, Trees of Hope is about giving back. Every decorated tree, every silent auction bid, and every donation supports the CHEO Foundation and helps provide essential care, research, and support for young patients and their families.
